about me
My name is Daniel Alekow, and I currently live in Berlin where I am in my last year of studying Digital Film and Animation at the SAE Institute. I began doing digital art around 2003 and since then continually work to improve myself. My focus is matte painting and digital painting, but I do photography and some design as well. Also I want to pick up 3d again in order to better support my matte paintings.

When I am not working on the computer, I love playing the piano, taking photos, reading, meeting friends and drawing in cafés. And I enjoy learning languages.

My goal is to work in the entertainment industry doing matte painting. I know I have many things to learn, but what if not our dreams takes us forward?
